How it works
The tool reads the image in your browser, corrects its orientation and crops a square around your selection. A circular mask makes the corners transparent. The selected pixels are not enlarged.

Frequently asked questions
Is the downloaded file really transparent?
Yes. The area outside the circle is transparent in the PNG. Transparency inside the original image is also preserved.
Can I move the circle or choose its size?
Yes. Drag the circle and its handles, use the arrow keys, or enter pixel coordinates and dimensions. Width and height stay equal.
Will it remove the background behind my subject?
No. It only removes pixels outside the circle. The original background inside the circle remains. Animated inputs become one still image.
