Details and tips

How it works

The tool counts 256 bins for red, green, blue and estimated luma from decoded sRGB pixels. It excludes fully transparent pixels and gives all other pixels equal weight. Mean, lower median, minimum and maximum are reported.

Made for everyday images

Compare tonal distributions, inspect clipping and export data for image-processing analysis.

No. Processing and export happen on your device. Images are not saved to an account.

What are the limits?

Input supports JPG, PNG and WebP, up to 250 MB, 8192 px per side and 16 million pixels. Expanded output must also fit the pixel limits. Animated input is processed as a still frame.
