How it works
The tool finds the bounding rectangle of non-background pixels and removes only outer rows and columns. The margin expands that rectangle within the original image. Interior holes remain unchanged.

Does the margin add new pixels?
No. It only keeps available pixels from the original. Use Add Image Border to create new space.
Are my images uploaded?
No. These tools process image data on your device. Images and encoded text are not saved to your account.
Which images are supported?
JPG, PNG and WebP up to 8192 px per side and 16 million pixels. Pixel-based effects and comparison use a single still frame of animated files. Base64 conversion preserves original bytes and has a 5 MiB file limit.
