Comparison settings

Images must have identical dimensions after orientation correction. No resizing or alignment is applied. The threshold affects the changed-pixel count, not the mean difference.

Details and tips

How it works

Comparison uses orientation-corrected pixels without resizing or alignment. It checks alpha and premultiplied RGB channel differences; fully transparent hidden colors are ignored. The report includes changed-pixel counts and mean channel difference.

Made for everyday images

Inspect compression changes, compare design exports and locate screenshot differences.

Frequently asked questions

Can I compare images of different sizes?

Resize or crop them to identical dimensions first. The tool rejects a mismatch rather than silently changing the comparison.

Are my images uploaded?

No. These tools process image data on your device. Images and encoded text are not saved to your account.

Which images are supported?

JPG, PNG and WebP up to 8192 px per side and 16 million pixels. Pixel-based effects and comparison use a single still frame of animated files. Base64 conversion preserves original bytes and has a 5 MiB file limit.
